Omega Speedmaster Special Limited Edition - The Legend

He is more than a remarkable figure in the world of sports; he is also a very generous person that founded a school in Senegal, a clinic in Sarajevo and a special center for street children in Peru. Michael Schumacher is one of the first representatives of Omega. He highly contributed to the development of the Swiss brand.
The Speedmaster “Legend” includes an Omega 3301 Caliber movement. The self-winding movement has a column wheel mechanism as well as a Rhodium-plated finish and a 55 hours power reserve. The watch also includes a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The water resistance of the timepiece is up to 100 meters.
The main functions of this model include: the display of the date, small seconds, a chronograph, a chronometer, and a tachymeter.
The more famous version of this watch spots a red dial. I asked if it is possible to special order the watch with a red dial instead since it is not on display on the website and am informed that the arrangement is possible with no additional cost.
That got me all excited. I asked for the wait required and was told that it should not take more than a week.
Within a week, the watch is around my wrist, and I am happily showing it off at a family dinner. One close family friend, a watch dealer, knew the scarcity of this model and asked if he can take a closer look. Through the naked eye, he is unable to tell that the watch is a replica, and even gave me pointers on how to take care of the watch!
